Mrs. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, who worked in the non-profit sector for over 13 year's experience. She has served a wide variety of groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction, victims of sexual assault, and intimate relationship violence. Ms. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since the year 2019. Now offering telehealth behavioral health services. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and prenatal women, offers trauma-informed therapy to adults and specializes on treatments that are based on trauma. Also, she offers private and group therapy, treatment with medication and referrals for specialist care as well as Women's support groups. Amanda assists in finding the right homes for animals through her role as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer. She wholeheartedly believes in Best Friends' slogan, "Save Them All" and will do everything she can to make Los Angeles become a no kill city.
